Historically known for their fortified Port wines, there is so much more to what Portugal has to offer in the world of wine. The dry wines emerging from Portugal are nothing short of delicious, and winemakers have really embraced their (sometimes extremely difficult to pronounce!) indigenous varietals and made them shine on the international stage. From the light and crisp white wines of Vinho Verde to the rich, inky reds of the Douro and Dão, we will explore Portugal’s vast viticultural landscape - and try to correctly pronounce some of their over 250 indigenous varietals!

Our wine classes typically include a little something to help cleanse your palate, but we highly encourage you to make a reservation in the wine bar at least a full hour before class if you'd like to enjoy some small plates in the bar, or eat a light meal before attending.
