Looking for Cooking Lessons in Denver?
There are all kinds of cooking lessons in Denver, from ‘watch and learn’ experiences to Denver culinary school classes. Today we’re going to describe the experience you’ll have when you come to one of our cooking events so you can decide if it’s the cooking lesson you have in mind. We think you’ll agree the experience offers plenty of real-world cooking experience and a lot of fun.
The first step is choosing your cooking class. We offer a variety of classes year round including some you would expect like, grilling, tacos, Asian recipes etc., and some categories you might not expect. For example:
We should also mention that we have daytime, nighttime and weekend classes so there should be plenty of ways to fit a cooking course into your schedule. You are welcome to come by yourself, with a date or with the whole family (as long as they meet the age requirement for certain classes).
The day of your cooking event, you don’t need to prepare in any special way to join us in the kitchen except to arrange a rideshare if you’d like to offload all your responsibilities for the night.
Depending on the event you sign up for, it might be a tasting menu, a multi-course meal or something seasonal. In all cases though, our staff will show you to the kitchen you’re going to use and let you know about the food and beverages you’ll be preparing and enjoying. All our events are ‘chef led’, meaning you’re not reading recipes and figuring it out on your own, you’re cooking along with a professional and the rest of your small group.
If you have questions, they are ready to help. If you want to leave an ingredient out, or make a flavor adjustment, it’s your meal, so you and your chef can discuss it along the way. Yes, you’re learning the cooking skills and flavor combinations, but we think it’s a more fun and memorable way to take a ‘cooking lesson’. You’ll be cooking, laughing and enjoying a beverage as you learn.
Then (of course) you get to eat! You’ve just learned to cook a restaurant-quality meal and you get to dine with your companions, discuss the experience and enjoy yourself. The entire experience is built around the enjoyment of cooking, eating and company. We think you’ll find it a much more interesting experience than signing up with a culinary school. Think of it as part cooking lesson, part play and always an enjoyable experience.
