Taste of India: A Cooking Class Made for Couples

Indian Food

If you get a regular date night, even those can start to feel routine. Dinner at the same restaurant, the same drinks, the same conversation (or maybe not much conversation). A couples cooking class in Denver flips the script. Rather than sitting across from each other waiting for food to arrive, you and your partner will roll up your sleeves, get some instructions from your chef instructor, and cook something extraordinary as a team.

This month we hope you'll join us for a Taste of India, a couples cooking class built around connection, creativity, and really good food.

What Recipes Will You Learn?

Taste of India introduces couples to the bold, layered flavors of Indian cuisine. You'll work hands-on with aromatic spices, fresh ingredients, and traditional techniques that home cooks often find intimidating. Think fragrant curries, freshly made flatbreads, and dishes that fill the room with the kind of smell that makes everyone hungry.

Each session is guided by an experienced instructor who walks you through every step—from toasting whole spices to building depth of flavor in a sauce. No prior cooking experience is needed. By the end of the class, you and your partner will have prepared a full Indian meal together and gained the confidence to recreate it at home.

A few highlights from the menu:

  • Chicken Tikka Masala
  • Cabbage and Paneer Stir Fry
  • Daal Makhani
  • Rice Kheer

Why a Cooking Class Is a Great Couples Night

Shared experiences tend to be more memorable than passive ones. Cooking together requires communication, a bit of teamwork, and a willingness to laugh when things don't go exactly to plan; all of which make for a genuinely fun evening.

Taste of India works well whether you're celebrating something special or just looking for a fresh way to spend time together. It suits couples who love food, couples who want to try something new, and couples who simply want a night that feels different from the usual routine.

Everything you need is provided. From ingredients to equipment, aprons and recipes. You’ll even have chef-guided help along the way so you can learn new techniques from a professional. Surprise your partner this month with a cooking class for couples whether it’s Taste of India or another one coming up.
