Choosing Venues for Work Christmas Party?
Our first rule of holiday parties is: do something original…and no, that doesn’t require a huge budget or lots of fanfare. It just means, don’t set up a buffet in the conference room at the office or rent a hotel event space for a “chicken or beef” catered event. If you’re going to have a holiday party, make it an evening your coworkers will remember.
Uncorked Kitchen wasn’t built as a cookie cutter venue for work Christmas parties; we were created as a fun, interactive space where you’ll spend time making memories along with delicious dishes. That's why we don't offer bland group events. We offer three kinds of unique experiences.
Not all company events need to be a sit-down dinner with speeches. We’ve hosted lots of Wine Bar Events where the company hosts coworkers and loved ones for drinks, hors d’oeuvres and some out-of-work socializing. Your year-end get together doesn’t need to be an all night event and it doesn’t have to break the budget. Many groups find this is the right amount of holiday event for their team.
For groups that want to collaborate and make some group memories at the grill, we host Kitchen Events. As we do all year long, the right venue for a work Christmas party might be a cooking collaboration in small groups, followed by sitting down to eat the food you’ve worked to prepare together. We hear again and again that cooking together as a team is far more memorable than shuffling through a buffet line.
If your team wants to sit down and enjoy a world class meal together, you might want to look into our Wine Cellar Events. Unlike the pasta bar you’ve seen set up in the company break room at some point, our company gatherings are plated, served and exceptional. It’s a bit like treating your team to an exceptional evening out, except you’ll have the entire space to yourselves; you don’t need to worry about the restaurant noise or figuring out what everyone is ordering…we’ll help you design a menu and a budget ahead of time.
If you’re choosing venues for a work Christmas party in Denver, think about these three versions, and get in touch with the event planning team to discuss what you’re looking for. We love hosting groups this time of year, and we hope to help your group break out of the basic holiday mold and find something truly memorable to celebrate 2025.
