If school is out, then Uncorked’s camps are in! With us, your kids can take a culinary vacation where their journey will teach them how to cook, eat healthy, and leverages all those math, reading and science skills they’ve been slaving away at all year—in the kitchen.

Our Kids & Teens Camps are designed to work as a summer or holiday activity for children ages 7 through 17. During the summer each camp session is 1 week long, Monday through Friday. Holiday camps are run on a drop in basis and the schedule varies based on when the holidays fall.

At Uncorked Kitchen, camps sessions are tailored to help kids and teens use their summer to discover something new or grow their already piqued interest in food. Creating healthy meals, where food comes from, as well as the importance of nutritious foods are all part of the Uncorked camp experience. And if that’s not enough, at the end of each day of camp, students take their delicious creations home to feed the family (serving a family of three to four).

Our goal is to ensure that the meal and moments that are being created ignite a passion for cooking and fun. Imagination. New friends. And, great food are all waiting for your kids!

Our promise

  • We will provide imaginative, entertaining cooking classes with fresh, seasonal ingredients, imaginative ideas, new friends, and talented (patient) chef instructors.
  • We will tailor our events to help these budding chefs learn and grow their confidence in the kitchen while cooking up fun.
  • Our camps and menus are designed specifically for the skill level of each age group. Whether your young chef is new to the kitchen, ready to learn proper knife skills, or wants to compete in a Jr. Iron Chef Challenge, Uncorked Kitchen has the right class for your budding chef.
  • Each child/teen will leave with a dish to share at home with their families, and most important, the pride in knowing that they are responsible for providing and creating food for their family.

  • All events are led by a chef instructor
  • Max attendance is 16 (Camps fill up fast!)
  • All camp weeks revolve around a pre-planned theme
  • Essential kitchen safety will be taught along with culinary skills
  • Tuition will be pro-rated for enrollment after the start of a camp week as long as there is space available

Designed specifically to work in tandem with school vacations, our camps are the perfect interim activity. Holiday camp options will run during school vacation around Christmas and New Years. Our Fall Break Camp schedule is now available. Camps are available first come first serve. Please visit our Event Policies page for cancellation and camp session policies.

Takin’ it one week at a time

Camp programs fill up fast. As registrations are done by single day or all camp days offered, we recommend reserving all spots for which you’re interested, in advance, to guarantee your child’s participation.

Age groups, days, and times

We offer camp in two age groups:

Ages 7-10 yrs.
All camp sessions run 9:30am-12:30pm unless otherwise specified.
Spring Break “Half-day” Camp Sessions- $84 per camp half-day
Weekly “Half-day” Camp Sessions- $420 per camp week

Ages 11-17 yrs.
All camp sessions run 1:30-4:30pm for “half-day” and 9:30am-2:30pm for “full day” unless otherwise specified.

2018 Camp Schedule

Spring & Summer Break Camps

Sign up for one, two, three or all camp days during March or weekly camps in the summer!

Week 1: “Culinary Boot Camp” 6/4-6/8
Who said learning isn’t any fun? Your young chef will learn the ABC’s of cooking and eat the fruits of their labor while they’re at it! Chopping, they’ll mince, slice and dice with the knife. Searing, sautéing, braises and baking will all be covered. We’ll start students off with the basics and increase the tools in their arsenal each day of the camp week. Finally, they’ll show off to your family and bring home dinner each day of camp, dessert included! (Meal serves 3-4 people).

Week 2: “Tour of Asia” 6/11-6/15
Take a break from everyday takeout and enjoy something fresh each day, created by your very own chef! Every class will be a different stop on their flavorful tour, forming a deliciously Asian adventure. Explore the cuisines of China, Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, and Korea together as your child brings home dinner for your family each class day. (Meal serves 3-4 people).

Week 3: “Summer in France” 6/18-6/22
Do you have a petit chef at home? If so, don’t wait to sign them up for this fun and delicious summer exploration of French foods. Inspired by classic French dishes found in the countryside or along the coastline, each day they’ll be learning something new. With dishes that will incorporate summery produce and taste fresh and flavorful, zesty and hearty, you’ll be impressed each day by your student’s creations. Get ready to dig in– because after camp your young chef brings home dinner! (Meal serves 3-4).

Week 5: Cafe & Bake Shop Favorites 7/9-7/13
This week’s camp is all about baking, but isn’t just sweets and treats that will be coming home with your student! Our chef will teach your young cook cook and baker the skills they’ll need for the kitchen- whether they’re mixing up treats or chopping ingredients for salads or souffles. Each camp day they’ll be bringing home treats, breakfasty items, and great savory dishes as well!

Week 6: Mangia Italiano 7/16-7/20
When you think of Italian food, great home-made meals of pasta, gnocchi, fresh sauces, and salads come to mind. Share the joy of cooking this summer as your child attends this week’s camp and learns a variety of different techniques and dishes. Savor the dinner brought home each day, as we explore the different regions and cuisines of Italy. (Meal serves 3-4 people.)

Week 7: American Road Trip 7/23-7/27
America offers such diversity no matter where in the country you are. From the East Coast’s chowdahs and seafood dishes to Southern comfort food and barbecues, all the way across to California’s fresh cuisine, our country has a wide variety of foods to suit every taste. Sign up your budding chef for the culinary “road trip”, where they’ll be creating new menu items each class day! They’ll be bringing home dinner for the family each night to let you share in their adventures too, so jump on board! (Meal serves 3-4 people).

Week 8: South of the Border 7/30, 7/31, 8/1, 8/2, and 8/3
Spicy, tangy, cool and crisp- join us as we explore the flavors and textures each day of camp with the menus covering Tex-Mex, Central American, South American, and Mexican dishes. Each day will feature a different menu, and your young chef will be learning basic and intermediate skills as they get their hands dirty chopping, mixing, sauteing, and seasoning your dinner. At the end of each camp day your student will bring home a meal to share with your family, serving 3-4.

Here we will create light and refreshing appetizers, snacks and meals that are a welcome change from those heavy winter menus. We will focus on using fresh ingredients and seasonal favorites as students create menu items such as Greens Soup with crème fraiche, Zucchini Fritters, Pasta Carbonara with Bacon and Zesty Lemon Bars! Sign up for one, two, or all the days that fit your schedule! Each class your student will bring home a meal to serve 3-4 people.
