Team Building Cooking Events in South Denver
Uncorked Kitchen & Wine Bar in Centennial hosts hands-on cooking events for team building and private celebrations, for groups of 10 to 50, serving south Denver and the Denver Tech Center. Your team cooks a full meal side by side with our chef instructors, then sits down together to eat it. Three formats start at $119, $129 and $139 per person, plus 22% service charge and tax.
We've hosted private events here since 2015, in two kitchens that can run separate events at the same time, with our wine bar in the same building and views of the Front Range. For groups larger than 50, we can open the full building for up to 150 guests.
Choose your format
The Tasting Table · 2 hours · from $119 per
Your group cooks two courses, an appetizer and an entrée, with our chef instructors, then sits down to eat together. Choose one of 5 menus for the group, from crab cakes and flat iron steak to Spanish paella with chorizo and mussels. Add dessert for $10 per person.
The Chef's Table · 3 hours · from $129 per person
A full evening built around one themed menu: a starter, a salad or side, and an entrée, cooked together from start to finish. Dessert is included. Menus include A Night in Spain, Festa Italiano, French Affair, Thai Street Food and Mexican Fiesta, plus Holiday Fare from November through January.
The Iron Table “Iron Chef Event” · 3 hours · from $139 per person
Your group splits into competing teams, each working with a chef instructor to create an original dish around a shared protein and a Chef's Pantry of specialty ingredients revealed on the night. Our culinary team judges on creativity, technique and flavor and crowns a winner, and then everyone sits down to eat. A chef-prepared appetizer opens the evening and a chef-prepared dessert closes it.
Celebrations and private parties
The same three formats work for celebrations with family and friends, at the same prices and the same food and beverage minimums. The Chef's Table suits a dinner-party evening, and The Iron Table turns a group of friends into competing teams. For kids and teens, see our birthday parties page.

Questions from event planners
What does it cost in total?
The per-person price for your format and any upgrades, plus 22% service charge and tax. Drinks from our bar are additional. Food, upgrades and drinks all count toward your food and beverage minimum, but service charge and tax don’t.
Is there a minimum?
Yes. Each cooking event has a food and beverage minimum based on the date, the day of the week and the space. We recommend groups of 10 or more, and smaller groups are welcome with the minimum still applying. Your proposal shows the exact amount before you book.
How many people can you host?
We recommend 10 to 50 guests for cooking events. Full-building events go up to 150.
Does everyone cook?
Yes. At The Tasting Table and The Chef's Table, your whole group cooks side by side with our chef instructors. At The Iron Table Iron Chef event, each team works with its own chef instructor.
Which format works best for team building?
The Iron Table "Iron Chef" is built for it: teams, a mystery pantry, judging and a winner. For a relaxed evening where the meal is the focus, The Chef's Table gives you three courses and more time at the table.
Can you handle allergies and dietary restrictions?
Tell us about every allergy and dietary need when you book. We review each one against your menu and let you know what we can do for that guest.
Can we have wine and cocktails?
Yes. Our wine bar is in the same building, with a list built around small and lesser-known producers, plus beer and cocktails.
Can we hold a meeting before the event?
Yes. Book The Cellar Room before your cooking event for an additional fee. It seats 24 and has a large flat-screen TV for presentations. Ask us for pricing.

GUEST EXPERIENCE AT UNCORKED KITCHEN
"It was such a positive social event. Some of our guests really were involved with the cooking while others, myself included, enjoyed wandering from station to station and talking to each chef, helping, socializing and learning some great food preparation tips! I liked this format that allowed each to simply enjoy! It felt like a warm large family kitchen. We had a couple guests who were gluten/dairy intolerant and the Uncorked Staff had a separate preparation area so all our guests felt special an included! When it was time to eat, everyone was happy and settled down to a beautiful table to enjoy the meal we prepared together. I highly recommend this experience as a casual and relaxed time together.” - Katherine Hartzler Jet Linx Denver
“I’ve been to a number of cooking-based team development events over the last ten years and our three-plus hour experience of cooking and dining together was special. Beyond the fun, everyone felt they learned a lot more about both some fundamentals and secrets (to us anyway) behind really good cooking. I even learned how to crack an egg with one hand and not get shell into the pan... my wife was really impressed! After the fun and great food, we met in your conference room to discuss the experience. It was easy to tie the event in a meaningful way to the business challenges we were facing and or ’take out’ was a useful list of the healthy ingredients needed to drive success in a particularly adventurous year, given our strategy.” - Chris Cappy Pilot Consulting Program
