Start the year off right with some kitchen FUN-damentals! Get those culinary skills sharpened with our junior chef in-person class series. We will be starting at the basics and working our way to the more complex menu items through the following weeks. Each class your junior chef will be honing those culinary skills and bringing home a meal for you and your family! (Meal serves 3-4 people)

Learned Skills:

  • Safe Food Handling; hand washing, sanitation, hygiene, temperature
  • Knife Skills; safe knife handling, chopping, mincing, slicing, peeling
  • Measurements; portion control, consistency
  • Stove and oven skills; temperature control, sautéing, braising, simmering, grilling, baking
  • Multitasking, Organization, Clean-up
  • Time Management Team Work, Problem Solving
