Join us at Uncorked Kitchen for the return of our most requested night of the year — Chef Showdown, Wine Edition. Two of our chefs go head-to-head, plating and finishing course after course right in front of you, each one drawing inspiration from Colorado — the terrain, the seasons, the spirit of a state that shapes how we cook without ever boxing us in.

Four courses, two plates each — one from every chef, each a tasting portion built to spotlight technique over volume — followed by a sweet finish to close the evening. Same course, two interpretations, side by side. You decide who wins.

Guiding you through it all is Nigel Wilkinson, one of only 202 Master Sommeliers in the world, pouring selections from the Boutinot portfolio chosen to match — and occasionally challenge — what's on the plate. Twenty-plus years in the trade means every pour comes with a story worth hearing.

ABOUT NIGEL WILKINSON

The beautiful country of Wales is home to Tom Jones, Shirley Bassey, Anthony Hopkins, Catherine Zeta-Jones, and also the only-ever Welsh Master Sommelier — Nigel Wilkinson. Nigel has worked with Boutinot for 20+ years, and when he isn’t tasting or enthusing about the wines in the Boutinot portfolio, he’s been a devoted supporter of his hometown soccer club for 40+ years — a little team called Wrexham (now owned by Ryan Reynolds, aka “Deadpool,” and Rob McElhenney, aka Mac from It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia). Despite being one of only 269 people in the world to ever pass the notoriously grueling Master Sommelier exam in over fifty years — more people have been to space — Nigel doesn’t take himself too seriously, and always likes to close out an evening with a cold beer.
